August proved a very busy month for Tenby Sailing club hosting two sets of national championships, Fireflies, and The Redwings and Enterprises.
The club is delighted to announce that its very own Mike and Deanna Stace are the new Redwing National Champions.
Mike and Deanna have had a few second places in past championships, missing out by small margins, but after a tense week of racing their consistency achieved the ultimate goal – National Champions of the Redwing class.
A second Tenby pairing of Robin Wood and Daniel Jackson achieved second place – well done Team Tenby.
to make it even more special, the mayor of tenby, cllr sam skyrme-blackhall was on hand to present the trophies to very worthy winners.
the commodore, terry evans, would like to thank all at tenby sailing club for their gargantuan efforts over the two championships.
