AN ALLERDALE sailing club has been nominated as club of the year in a prestigious national award.
Members of the club are encouraging the community to get behind the club who have been shortlisted as the North West representative in the RYA and Y&Y Club of The Year 2023.
A spokesman for the club said: "Please vote for Bassenthwaite Sailing Club in the RYA and Y&Y Club of The Year 2023.
"We have been shortlisted as the North West representative and now it's down to a public vote. Bass is a volunteer Club run by members for members.
"A haven in the Lake District National Park where the love of all things sailing is celebrated on and off the water, by the young and the old, in an inclusive, fun and safe environment.
"We're up against some big competition and need your votes! It takes two mins. Non sailors can also vote."
