The Royal Yachting Association Training Centre offers the chance to go sailing on beautiful Ullswater with a full range of courses and taster sessions suitable for all ages and levels of ability.
Based at award-winning Ullswater Yacht Club, the Sailing School is fully open throughout the Easter holiday period and for the rest of the 2023 season.
The learn-to-sail courses, two, three or five days, are for both adults and youths. The taster sessions, full day or half day, are designed to let everyone sample the joy of sailing and are particularly popular with family groups.
The courses are run by fully qualified instructors, boats, clothing and all equipment are provided and camping on site is available.
“We look forward to welcoming visitors in 2023 and helping them experience the pleasure of sailing on Ullswater,” said Sail Training Officer James Watts, who looks after the day-to-day running of the Sailing School.
“All our courses are available over the Easter holidays and then for the rest of the sailing season. Just choose your date and course or session on the Sailing School website.”
