North West Norfolk Week 2023 got off to a flying start at Snettisham Beach SC on Saturday 29 July. Sparkling conditions made for some great racing for the fleets, the sunshine coming out in time for racing in a good breeze - after the briefing was nearly drowned out by torrential rain!
The fleet continue sailing at Snettisham on Sunday, before moving on to Brancaster Staithe SC for Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday the racing will be hosted by Ouse Amateur SC, with Thursday hosted by Overy Staithe SC and Friday by Wells SC. The week draws to a close at Blakeney SC next Saturday. BBQ's at Snettisham after the first day of racing, and at Blakeney at the end of the week set the scene for this most social of sailing weeks!
After the first day of racing Steve and Joanne Sallis lead the National 12 fleet and Paul Bloom leads the Allcomers Fleet in his Supernova.
