Members will be given guided tours of the recently refurbished Clubhouse and grounds and will be pleased to chat through all the sailing opportunities at the club as well as the many social activities on offer too.
The Commodore, Alan Hoy, said: "We're all proud that our award-winning Club is celebrating 125 years of sailing this year. It's a most friendly vibrant club of over 1000 members which is still run by volunteer members - we're looking forward to welcoming visitors to have a taster of what's on offer at our Open Day."
The Club's extensive race programme for both dinghies and cruisers is competitive, fun and in a friendly atmosphere allowing for all sailing abilities. It is a RYA registered Sailing School and has a full range of training courses available. The Cadets, ages 8-18 are active and enjoy their own popular training weekends and a cadet week in the summer holidays.
It's not just about racing though as cruising and leisure sailing is very much part of the Club's appeal.
