Smaller Islands Mediterranean adventure


 

Here's a 14-day family sailing itinerary covering some of the smaller Mediterranean islands. This route focuses on a mix of natural beauty, cultural experiences, and relaxing beach stops. The itinerary starts and ends in Sardinia, Italy, a central point that allows for easy access to several stunning islands in the region.


Day 1: Arrival in Olbia, Sardinia

Day 10: Isola di San Pietro to Isola di Sant’Antioco (Sardinia)

Distance: 15 NM

Port: Calasetta, Sant'Antioco

Activities: Sail to Sant’Antioco, another beautiful island with a rich history. Visit the archaeological sites, enjoy the beaches, and explore the small town of Calasetta.


Day 11: Sant’Antioco to Asinara Island (Sardinia)

Distance: 35 NM

Port: Anchor off Cala d’Oliva

Activities: Sail to the remote and wild Asinara Island, known for its wildlife, including the famous white donkeys. Explore the island by foot or bike, as no private vehicles are allowed.


Day 12: Asinara Island to Castelsardo (Sardinia)

Day 15: Departure from Olbia
