Winter membership offer at Grafham Water Sailing Club

 

Starting at £100, the membership provides access to one of the UK's largest reservoirs, located between Cambridge, Milton Keynes, and Peterborough.

The winter series takes place from November 30 to March 31 and features 39 races over 13 Sundays, with three back-to-back races each day.

Classes include ILCAs, Flying Fifteens, Solos, D-Zeros, Dart 15s, A-class Cats, and RS boats.

Additional events include a monthly sprint racing series in January, February, and March, with five races each day, and a Christmas pursuit race followed by dinner.

Top-quality prizes for the winter series come from club sponsor Gill.

Winter members also have the chance to compete in the Gill Grafham Grand Prix on December 29 at a discounted rate, participate in Saturday coaching sessions, and sail on the lake every day of the week.

The winter membership provides an opportunity for sailors of all classes to maintain fitness and competitiveness over the winter months, race against top helms, and enjoy the expansive courses offered by the 1,550-acre lake.
