A ten-knot northerly wind brought the curtain down on the 24th-DBSC winter sailing season at Dun Laoghaire Harbour on Sunday morning (March 23rd).
The 'extra' race of the 2025 Spring Chicken Series was staged after racing was abandoned a fortnight ago.
Efforts to stage the third and final race ended without success as winds turned light and flukey on March 9th.
The six-race series hosted by the National Yacht Club has attracted a fleet of 40 mixed cruisers but was hit hard by the weather, with three races completed.
