Race 2, 3633 Craig Hepplewhite & John Annan (Loch Lomond SC) took the win, followed by clubmates 4001 Euan Dunn & Duncan Hepplewhite, with 4147 Tony Woods & your correspondent in third. Race 3 saw the same top two, with Preston & Sloane this time in third.

Race 4 went to Preston & Sloane despite an early penalty, with Woods second and 4130 Adrian Tattersall & John Mathie (Parkstone & Fishguard YC) in third. Overnight leaders Hepplewhite & Annan finished eighth, opening the door for a final-race showdown.
