ICRA Nationals Return to Cork Week in July 2026

The Royal Cork Yacht Club will host the 2026 ICRA National Championships as part of Cork Week, taking place from 6–10 July.

This edition starts slightly earlier than previous years, promising five days of competitive racing across multiple classes.

The racing programme will include Non-Spinnaker and Coastal divisions, both expected to attract strong entries, according to the Crosshasven club.

Organisers say the club has secured more accommodation options than before, now available through the event website.

Berthing capacity has also increased, following RCYC’s acquisition of the adjacent deep-water marina.

“The facilities and location make Cork Week an ideal setting for the ICRA Nationals,” an RCYC spokesperson said.

The Kingstown to Queenstown race, a key ISORA event, returns the weekend prior. It offers Dublin-based boats a scenic route south in advance of the main regatta.

Road-transported boats will be accommodated locally, with cranage and trailer storage included in the entry fee.

UK and European boats are also expected to compete, making for an international fleet.

Sailors can benefit from a discounted entry fee if they register before the end of January 2026.
