A Bolton resident who has cerebral palsy will embark on a life-changing sailing adventure – and she thinks more activities like this should be provided to disabled people.
Carla Woods, aged 66, will set sail on an eight-day sea quest with the Jubilee Sailing Trust.
She will be part of a 40-person crew leaving Portsmouth today, Wednesday, and returning to the seaport a week later.
Taking on the adventure, Carla will be sailing on the Tenacious, which boasts a permanent crew of nine.
