Cove Sailing Club have invited locals to join the celebrations for their first race of the season later this month.
The club’s Opening Muster will take place on April 22, with the first gun at 2pm.
Attendees will be able to enjoy music from singer and guitarist Al Mitchell at 4pm and food later in the afternoon.
All classes of boats as well as non-members are welcome to join the event.
Cove Sailing Club often hosts a variety of social events such as quizzes and ‘Sunday Scrans’ where locals can have free food and take part in family activities.
All of the club’s events are open to the public.
