Southampton International Boat Show returns in 2023

From paddleboarders to super-yacht fanatics, there is something for everyone at Britain's largest festival of boats, which returns to Mayflower Park in September.

Organisers say the Southampton International Boat Show, which runs from Friday September 15 to Sunday September 24 this year, will be bigger and better than ever before.

Now in its 54th year, the event hosts the On The Water zone, which allows visitors to get wet if they want to. From stand-up paddleboarding and exhilarating speedboat rides to cruising the Solent, this action-packed area is built for the whole family.

There is also ‘Try-a-Boat’ where visitors can sail a yacht, take the throttle of a motorboat, or feel the power of RIB blasting around Southampton water.

With Get-A-float you can try your hand at single or double-handed dinghy sailing, grab a friend and try out the double kayaks or have a go at stand-up paddleboarding with the whole family. You can even enjoy a mini cruise around the Solent onboard the ‘Ocean Scene’.

This incredible event is the biggest marine showcase in the UK and one of Europe’s largest events.

With hundreds of exhibitors, over 650 craft on display plus a purpose-built marina, fabulous food and plenty of family entertainment, there is lots to do.

The marina berths hundreds of the world’s most prestigious sailing and power boats, as well as high-end tender and chase boats. With cutting-edge global, European and UK launches of yachts, RIBs, motor day boats and the stunning Thalassa tall ship – it’s not to be missed.

Visitors will be surrounded by beautiful craft, from restored classics to the latest boat models and first-of-its-kind launches and as always, up to two children go free with every adult ticket.
