A school near Ipswich has beaten out 40 teams from 12 schools and showed off their skills at a sailing competition.
The Royal Hospital School in Holbrook took the top prize at The British Schools Dinghy Racing Association Finals.
The final race saw the school’s team take on Magdalen College school from Oxford and secure top place.
The competition was held at Norfolk Broads Yacht Club on June 26 to 27.
“The whole team worked great together through the whole event."
Ed Sibson, the school’s director of sailing, said he was impressed with the team’s results.
He noted their success followed a successful year of sailing for the students.
He added: "We're absolutely thrilled with the result achieved by our team, especially considering that, for some of them, this was their final competition representing RHS.
Their dedication to sailing throughout their time at the school, their hard work in training, and their willingness to invest significant amounts of their free time in team improvement have truly paid off."
