A Tuesday night dinghy race, on September 3, had four entries in a mild westerly wind.
Top place went to Dan Jackson and Matt Goldwait sailing Osprey 1380, followed by Steve Leach in second place in his RS 600 874.
Peter Rose's ILCA7 took third place, with Rob Duggan & Michelle finishing fourth in their Enterprise 20193.
The National Osprey Championships held September 5-8 at Poole Yacht Club, saw Tenby’s Carpé Diem, Osprey 1365 helmed by Dave Griffiths and Maurice Clarke, securing 13th place overall.
The next race for Redwings is on September 12, at the earlier time of 5.30pm due to the shorter daylight hours.
Finally, the clubhouse will host an end of season party on September 28, and Terry Evan’s first quiz night of the season on October 5 at 8pm.
