Plockton Small Boat Sailing Club (PSBSC) held several races in the run-up to its regatta which started on Monday July 24.
Two races were held on Saturday July 8 for the Moore Bowl, for local boats. Result: 1 Michael Hay, Nan; 2 Neil MacRae, Rona; 3 Ian Hay, Seaolta.
The Dubhaird Trophy for centreboards had two races on Sunday July 9. Result: 1 Michael Hay, Die Forelle; 2 Ian Hay, Fasgadair); 3 Alastair Hendry, Plane Crazy.
Two races were held on Saturday July 15. The first race, for local boats, was for the Duirnish Tankard. Result: 1 Neil MacRae, Rona; 2 Michael Hay, Nan; 3 Ian Hay, Seolta.
The second race was for the George Farquar MacRae Memorial Trophy, again for local boats. Result: 1 Alexander Mackenzie, Eala Bhan; 2 Michael Hay, Nan; 3 Ian Hay, Seolta.
At the Malt Trophy for centreboards, on Sunday July 16, the two races had only two finishers. Result: 1 Michael Hay, Die Forelle; 2 David Hay, Fasgadair.
The Commodore for 2023 is David Hay. The 2023 PSBSC Regatta runs until Saturday August 5.
